Blue or Grey

It's hard to say what color Leon's eyes are. On some days they look blue, others grey and still others they appear to be turning brown.

NINE Months!

It's hard to believe that Leon was born just nine months ago and at the same time it's hard to believe that nine months has gone by so fast! He is a precious gift from God and he is also the reason why I haven't slept well in over a year. LOL!

Leon update: He slides backwards; has two teeth on the bottom and two just broke skin on the top (but have yet to come out all the way); he says nanna, da daa, mama and other sounds; he eats almost everything that is put in front of him (such as tofu, spinach, egg yolk, acron squash, salmon, bread, avocado, etc) and everything goes in his mouth (we still have to baby proof the house!); his favorite games and activities are when he causes an action like he bangs something on the table and it makes a sound or he hides himself under a blanket and I say, "Where's Leon?"; he does not seem to be affected by separation anxiety, though he does not like me to leave him (I mean to say, he doesn't seem to get upset when other people hold him); he has had two ear infections and several colds; and he is not sleeping through the night but is sleep now. :)

Update

Pictured: A rare photo, Leon's hair is brushed

Leon's almost 9 months old! He can slide backwards; say moma, dada, naanaa, and other sounds; he has two teeth at the bottom and it looks like two are coming on the top; some days I think his eyes are turning grey or green and the other days they look clear, sky, blue; and above all his personality is coming through! He continues to be a very happy baby and is excited about everything around him.

Table Manners

Leon's growing up, way too fast. He now can hold (for a while before he throws it to the floor) his sippy cup (well not actually a "sippy cup" it's a fancy Whole Foods version) full of water. I'm still making his food. His favorite foods are puffs, sweet potato, barley oat mix, and oatmeal with bananas. He does not seem to like asparagus or yogurt. He has also had carrots, peas, all types of squash, green beans, prunes, pears, and I'm sure other things that I am not thinking of now. I have also begun to "season" his food. So far I am just using cinnamon with his sweet potato.

OH, and he is still on breast milk. I pump three times a day and feed him about 3-4 times an afternoon and night.

On the one hand I look forward to him eating with his hands and trying new things (like mini-whole wheat pancakes with blue berries) but on the other hand, I want to keep him a cuddly little baby forever. LOL! He is almost 20 pounds now and slowly changing from newborn to infant to baby.

Where's Leon?

Leon loves to play hide and seek. The other day I realized he was doing it with me. His self! So I grabbed the camcorder and here we go:
