No, not yet...but at some point. LOL! We are talking about when we want to have another child (assuming we are blessed with another). I have been getting conflicting advice. I've met moms who swear by the two under 2 phenomenon and then others who think having two in diapers is the hardest thing ever. I would say the majority of the people have me leaning to two years apart. But, everyone told me not to get pregnant the first year (of marriage) and we were preggers after the honey moon. Vamos a ver!

Who Needs to Walk and Talk When You Can Eat!
We have promised ourselves we won't play the comparison game. Leon will walk when he walks and he will talk when he talks. Still it is a little difficult. One of Leon's best daycare buddies is two weeks younger than him and has been walking for weeks. Another one of Leon's (my mommy group) buddies is walking and also just turned one. Leon started crawling and cruising around the same time. I'm sure he will walk soon enough. One thing Leon can do is eat. He eats everything...corn on the cob, ravioli, all types of fruit, broccoli, Ezekiel bread, anything. Tonight I made Tofu, Tomatoes and Peppers Pasta, which Leon devoured. Then he had a couple of spoonfuls of whipped (its so much better when it's whipped...um...that could be a tshirt slogan) cottage cheese. Watch as he holds the spoon himself and tries drinking his milk (without a sippy cup...also a feat that many babies at his age cannot do).
Best Birthday Ever (at least until next year, lol)
Leon's birthday was a splash. Sorry, pun intended. I originally envisioned a grand party in some rented room with a band or dj. Then I narrowed it down to a baby yoga class for Leon and all his best baby buddies at a yoga studio complete with tea and cookies (for the parents). Then the studio had to cancel at this last minute. So I decided to just throw a backyard party with two cheap ($4.99) baby pools. It turned out rather nice. The babies, toddlers, and big kids all loved splashing in the pools. When it was time for cake (cupcake) Leon did not disappoint the fans. After turning the cupcake around a few times, he tasted it and then gobbled it up. It's so hard to believe he is one year old. It almost seemed like he was going to walk tonight (took almost two full steps without holding on to anything). I'm not sure if I can't believe (or don't want to believe) he is one because it not only means he is getting older but that I am (hee hee).

Eleven Months...
Leon is almost 12 months. His birthday is this weekend. I can't believe our little boy is turning one! He is such a hand full now. Everything is complex with him. Changing his diaper is soo difficult because he won't stop moving. He is crawling and almost walking on his own. He has close to eight teeth.

Walk This Way
Leon is walking with assistance these days.
So Much to Say, So Little Time
Oh, Leon is growing by leaps and bounds. There's also so much else going on that I have neglected blogging. I'll try to catch up this weekend. His first birthday is right around the corner!!!!
